hey, need help. have powermac g5 mac os x 10.3 installed. need add blank partition 10gb. need install mac os x leopard. had purchased copy of full retail leopard install. problem mac won't read dl dvd, i'm not sure why though should read it. created dmg on friends mac , transfered on flash drive. have booted flash drive but, intel macs can boot external storage device. need make partition restore dmg , boot off of , install leopard onto other partition (the 1 panther on , personal documents/files). but, can't figure out how make partition without erasing data.   no mac's can boot of external hdd's , odd's , ppc mac's need firewire external ..its faster anyway second odd's apple use not 1 might call superior , might broken   Forums Macs ...
