Fishy battery life/ CPU Usage on Macbook Pro

hey guys, lately macbook pro has been experiencing issues battery life , high cpu usage when nothing running.

looked @ activity monitor , 2 processes hogging 70 % , 20 % of cpu respectively..

anytime quit process appears again couple seconds later..

help?

right safari using 50 % of cpu????

computer in question in sig.

applications have open mail, activity monitor, , safari
 

attached files:

spotlight indexing drive(s), searching items faster. after it's done, system resources freed up. plug in if battery running low. when spotlight indexing, evidenced mds process, can peg cpu utilization.
can determine if it's indexing menu bar icon: [​img] (not indexing) [​img] (indexing)

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
