hi, inherited dad's old macbook pro. had used time machine data. wiped hard drive no security options. tells me has delete sparse bundle it. when had moved, wiped old imac 1-pass security. have been trying rid of old imac backup. first accessed time capsule macbook. attempted delete old sparsebundle (drag trash, cmd-delete, etc). little trash window opened saying deleting. however, progress bar red , blue stripes, if preparing, , bottom said items delete: 0. left hours , came back, , hadn't changed. next attempted go show package contents, , bands folder, trying erase 1 of "bands" gave me same never-ending "0 items delete" progress window". becoming frustrated, went onto time machine backups drive mounts when there backup going. don't know how drive appeared, since time capsule full macbook up, , hasn't backed yet. anyway, went on drive, opened backups.backupdb, , saw bunch of old backups when dad owned computer in...
