hey everyone, received rather bizarre response apple's email technical support. it's strangely worded, doesn't address issue, , appears think name "mr. christopher city of sydney" (i live in albuquerque, new mexico).
keep in mind purchased app through itunes store, , account verified. has been years.

name micah, itunes store customer support. hope having day. understand have not been able use "write review" link in itunes store.
realize concern , assist best of ability.
christopher, before can write review must purchase item within itunes store.
discovered you have not completed verification process itunes store account. understand how can inconvenience you.
fortunately, can have verification email resent following these steps:
1) visit http://appleid.apple.com
2) click "manage account".
3) enter apple id name , password, click sign in.
4) click "resend" link under email address.
if not receive resent verification email, please sign in http://appleid.apple.com , confirm there not typo in email address. if there typo, click "edit" link right of email address, make necessary corrections, , click "save changes" button. verification email sent corrected email address.
if still have issue verifying account after performing suggested troubleshooting.
mr. city of sydney, can verify account before can this, apple requires provide following security reasons:
- billing address listed on account
- permission complete verification process itunes store account
if not remember billing address used when creating account, please follow steps below locate it:
1) visit apple's info website: <http://myinfo.apple.com>
2) choose country , preferred language.
3) enter itunes store account name , password click continue.
4) choose address book menu on left. on edit address book page, @ shipping address @ bottom.
5) click log out in upper-right corner.
upon receiving response, apple confirm information , verify account you. forward reply , assisting further. choosing itunes mr. city of sydney. take care , enjoy day.
