Strange Temperature Behaviour (temp is not related to CPU load?)

2011 mba, i5 256gb.

might tricky explain clearly, have installed sc2 , runs absolutely fine, noticed strange temperature behaviour in istatpro.

basically, open starcraft 2, main menu only, i5 temperature shoots 94 degrees c within maybe 30 seconds; cpu load pretty low @ point - 15-18% - why i5 getting hot?

temperature stays around 94 fans ramp up, regardless of whether cpu load @ 10 or 90%. stays there until exit game.

now, make sense if temperature high under load - , outside of games, mba behaves pretty i'd expect, more cpu intensive processes generate heat, , web browsing etc doesn't. why simple action of opening game cause i5 lock in @ full temp , full fan speed until close it? hardware/software fault or missing something?
