I killed my iMac, help please!

i replaced battery in imac g3 , took out old memory card , put in 2 new memory cards, following instructions got off internet. when turned on, beeped @ me , power light flashing yellow , green. help! how save it?

edited add: put old 1 in along 1 new one. made "dong" startup noise, screen black.

edtied again: took both new cards out, , it's happy again , os 9.1. wanted more memory upgrade os x. went wrong?
 

mmmm not sure if can help... googled beep codes computer , said there no ram installed or detected. sure ram compatible?

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
