Need Help Understanding PackageMaker

i'm trying build install package using packagemaker. our software created on windows machine , distributed both macs , windows os. mac, use .zip file because that's best can seem do.

i'm trying use packagemaker build , installer (which got started). don't understand if user has have packagemaker on mac work? build stand-alone package or have open , build in packagemaker each time distribute it?

maybe .dmg better tell user correct place move files?:confused:
 

packagemaker used create managed installer package (.pkg/.mpkg) give users, , install following prompts windows .exe/.msi installer.

if use .dmg method can place shortcut applications folder in .dmg users can drag , drop application install, example can seen here -> http://c-command.com/dropdmg/

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
