hey all, have music , media on nas. i've run couple of situations though. if map nas network drive (itunes folder) , set itunes media folder, shows local music want to, , can sync , backup iphone no problem (all going nas). problem when disconnect home network (thus no longer connected nas) , open itunes automatically switches itunes media folder default 1 in preferences menu. there way stop happening?? it's annoying having switch every time go home. second option i'm hoping has experience with. can't static ip isp i'm using ddns point dynamic ip , updating if changes (so acts static). when i'm away (not on home network) can connect server via , access no problem. when i'm on home network won't let me access way (i've read can cause problems directing external ip when connected internally , isn't working right now). works fine when i'm on outside network. overall goal able connect nas b...

my aluminum keyboard had hooked mbp died, due self-inflicted action (too liquid on keyboard when cleaning it). anyways bought new one, lo , behold volume keys not work. either pressing f11/f12 keys or pressing fn+f12. tried setting/resetting use f1, f2 etc keys standard function keys in keyboard preference no avail. tried zapping pram failed well. keyboard preference appears doing setting keyboard preferences macbook pro's keyboard. selecting keyboard shortcuts tab , selecting internal vs apple keyboard not either. if plug in old partially non-functioning keyboard volume keys work expect them too, not new keyboard. suggestions or help? on 13" macbook pro, running 10.6.7   you appear have exhausted of 1 can reasonably expect try remedy situation. curiosity's sake try plugging new keyboard different computer see if keys work then. in case sounds need...

i've never used outlook on windows. school offers office 2011 $15 , figured might switch imail outlook. problem can't recieve emails outlook. right outlook on trail..but in few days should receive code it. anyway imail gave email add. , pw , done. did same outlook keep getting "error code 17900". it's telling me cannot add it..and when try send/receive emails window opens telling me info or might wrong...however i've entered correct user/email , pw...the other stuff ask incomming , outgoing server have no idea though. window poping error message says this. server account "yahoo" returned error "[auth] access service not permitted.." username/password or security settings may incorrect. try re-entering password? have no idea do. problem going yahoo personal email , gmail school email. had no problems imail, outlook causing me headache.   ...
