MTS video problems

hey
got hold of bands footage our last gig edit , put onto dvds graphics , such. recorded on panasonic hd camera sd cards , videos mts files. tried converting them avi picture quality lost , looks worse original files. guess have 2 questions
1) can load , edit mts files in final cut?
2) there converting method keep picture quality?

first avi file pc not mac. want convert files .mov using prores422 codec.

second, there might plugin fcp can drop mts file directly in timeline , edit normal. know/and use 1 mxf file format , don't need waist hd space converting mov first.

on canon's website, might have stand-alone converter app can batch convert multiple files if there no plugin available.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
