Trying to use Outlook 2011 first time ever instead of imail and can't access emails

i've never used outlook on windows. school offers office 2011 $15 , figured might switch imail outlook. problem can't recieve emails outlook. right outlook on trail..but in few days should receive code it. anyway imail gave email add. , pw , done. did same outlook keep getting "error code 17900". it's telling me cannot add it..and when try send/receive emails window opens telling me info or might wrong...however i've entered correct user/email , pw...the other stuff ask incomming , outgoing server have no idea though.

window poping error message says this.

server account "yahoo" returned error "[auth] access service not permitted.." username/password or security settings may incorrect. try re-entering password?

have no idea do. problem going yahoo personal email , gmail school email. had no problems imail, outlook causing me headache.
 

you need ask school's department how set account in outlook.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
