does power trip going to damage the Imac?

i have power surge installed power trip damage imac since didn't has proper shut down. in pc improper shutdown can corrupt os happen on imac?
 

lets doesn't either os or hardware. wiser replacing surge protector decent ups, can configured orderly shutdown in event of total power failure if aren't there attend it. $100 can decent 1 protect import items computer , external hd's.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
