3. going have bootcamped windows software (sage line 50, etc). im guessing 64bit version of windows 7 suffice or 32bit?
4. long term, house become "appled", initially, looking @ 21" imac, , either 11/13" mba or 13/15" mbp. better me? (not know me, basic browsing "stuff", usual things people on computers, dont video/music edit, wife getting dslr camera @ xmas)

1. in everyday tasks, cpu won't matter. modern cpu sufficient tasks.
2. frequency isn't thing. pc has core 2 duo, based on core microarchitecture 2006. cpus in mbps based on sandy bridge architecture, faster clock clock when compared core. other that, c2d dual core, whereas cpus in 15" mbp quad core. on top of that, there hyper-threading , turbo boost, increase performance more.
3. 64-bit better since can utilize of ram. take @ virtualizing too, it's great if apps need aren't intensive.
4. if you're going imac anyway, mba. big difference storage, can 256gb. other that, it's pretty same 13" mbp, smaller. depends on for. can consider nas or other network storage can access data anywhere on house, on device.
5. yes.
6. file sharing bit more complicated nothing couldn't do.
7. in general batteries good. mba 1-year old , it's @ 93% health 167 cycles.
