How do you share iTunes playlist with another computer?

so i'm trying send friend mix cd burn , play on road trip. created playlist in itunes , drag , dropped files , playlist m3u file in folder , sent her. problem playlist files list file locations hd. there anyway export playlist , have itunes recreate through different means?

or there workaround this?
 

changing m3u path directory copy playlists

have bought new laptop , have hundreds of playlists on old itunes. worked out how copy these new computer, or @ least reasonable way - (if has better solution please email me @ tristanalaba@gmail.com , post here)

it's little time consuming i'm stoked it's worked cos stressing losing time , effort.

quick note, i've got same folder structure both computers, folder in different location (in fact itunes file folder on external drive, on hd)

solution may work if have different itunes librarys (different people/different copies of cd) require labelled same, artist name, album , song names identical, otherwise lot of work rewriting , not worth in cases

in itunes right-click playlist , choose export, make sure .m3u

open m3u in text edit, example 1 worked out on looks

see line users/tristanalaba/music/music collections/itunes music/ until name of artist, location of itunes directory. needs changed redirect file.

line used lacie/music/itunes media/ artist name

change this, find , replace new location.

people trying change mass of playlists, albeit long , gruelling process i'm going undertake in near future.

in regards original question, haven't tried yet i'd suggest, if have files plus m3u on cd, when open m3u in itunes should blank playlist title.

when open songs in itunes , they're copied itunes file directory, playlist still blank. if go through process of redirecting files through find , replace should work perfectly, because same files named in original file, location has changed.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
