Advice on what Apple Laptop to buy?

hi,

want apple laptop use moving around internet browsing , small application downloads, no powerful macbook pros because don't need spend need for.

looking second hand macbook whites, powerbooks etc when upgrade full ram can take , biggest hd accept. add latest os take. have ideas right me?
 

not powerbook. pick used macbook (core 2 duo) , go there. wouldn't bother lion if can't upgrade past 4gb of ram, seeing how lion still giant memory hog. if you're going use web browsing, there no reason upgrade lion anyhow.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
