iTunes media on NAS

hey all,

have music , media on nas. i've run couple of situations though.

if map nas network drive (itunes folder) , set itunes media folder, shows local music want to, , can sync , backup iphone no problem (all going nas).

problem when disconnect home network (thus no longer connected nas) , open itunes automatically switches itunes media folder default 1 in preferences menu. there way stop happening?? it's annoying having switch every time go home.

second option i'm hoping has experience with. can't static ip isp i'm using ddns point dynamic ip , updating if changes (so acts static). when i'm away (not on home network) can connect server via , access no problem. when i'm on home network won't let me access way (i've read can cause problems directing external ip when connected internally , isn't working right now). works fine when i'm on outside network.

overall goal able connect nas both within , outside of home network , have stay media folder within itunes no matter i'm connecting internet. if possible great otherwise if accomplish first task of not having itunes automatically switch itunes media folder that'd great.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
