Using Google Mail with Mac Mail client - am I correct?

right should simple , want confirm confusing number of mailboxes have in mac mail sidebar - i'm using gmail imap email through mac mail client.

example - starting @ top have inbox assume collective inbox accounts? have named inbox below e.g. joe public. below have drafts , below have sent arrow "sent" again collective sent , below sent joe public (i know google recommends not having store sent messages on server see have sent have checked in mac mail behaviours). next box on list trash reminders. have both tick boxes in trash behaviours section un-ticked per google recommendation?

next header "on mac" option show or hide. when shown have joe public "junk" mailbox. 1 created mac mail or google box? i'm thinking mac mail "junk folder". have followed google's advice not ticking "enable junk mail filtering" in "preferences", correct thing , if need keep boxes or can deleted?

next on list joe public google account , if expand have google server folders.

wanted make sure reading correctly don't want mail inadvertently ending in wrong folders have 6 different accounts monitor.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
