Need help for new iPad (syncing)

ok admit quite ipad newb (first step treatment).
ipad 1 crushed morning , dead.
tends happen when forget on car roof , falls off on on-ramp , don't realize hour.....yea know.
anyway, bought ipad 2 , wants me sync.
if plug in mac book pro (which used ipad 1), automatically ask put stuff on new ipad 2? warnings doing or option choose? don't want on right stuff on mbp blank ipad 2.
help.
 

just choose restore backup, , whatever current backup sync state.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
