Giving my 3GS to my son who doesn't have a data plan.

i got 4s today (love it). want give 3gs son. we're both on att, doesn't have data plan. has unlocked 3g w/ fake apn thing. knows not text msg. has worked fine past 2 yrs w/o added fees etc.

3gs has 4.2.1. saw can deactivate cellular data 4.0 , above cool.

question can restore 3gs ios 5.0, not jailbreak , unlock it, , turn off data via general>network>turn off cellular data , go him?

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
