Seagate Hybrid Momentus XT in 2011 13" MBP

has installed seagate hybrid m xt 500gb in 13' mbp , curious see performance like.

have 2 of these drives , thinking of getting sons base model 13" 2011 mbp i5 2.3 replace slow stock drive.

there performance increase relevant, or slight boost on startup , shutdown?
 

have 1 in daughter's 2009 13" mbp. never took actual measurements, sense slight boost in response overall...not during bootup see ssd.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
