iMac Quad for Professional Video Production

i'm in market desktop compliment mbp 2008, progress video , graphics production business.

i'm curious whether there pro's using quad imac operate small media production companies specialising in following app usage:

final cut pro studio 3, adobe premiere pro cs5, after effects cs5, photoshop cs5, illustrator cs5, lightroom 3 , i'm tinkering lot more fcpx.

spec i'd consider @ least are:

quad i7 3.4, 256ssd 1tb hdd, 6970 2gb gpu... 11,000+ on geekbench...

i'd appreciate advice chime in, , describe experiences.

main concern heat. :confused:

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
