Hard drive question

is there way remove partition of drive without loosing data? let me explain:
have 640gb drive 2 partitions: time machine partition, , "everything else" partition. got dedicated time machine drive, , want erase old time machine backup, not lose space had allotted time machine (120gb). can remove old partition , space without formatting drive? because have 120gb local drive on computer, , 400gb of media on external, cant copy computer, format, , copy back.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
