Digital Camera that is compatible w/ iMac for uploading movies

greetings,
have never had issues inserting sd card imac computer , opening iphoto , uploading photos , movies recorded. recently, sister bought new sony camera , uses newer sd card, recorded video , did not show up, not manually open , use imovie either. looking getting newer, upgraded model digital camera (soney nex 3 or olympus e-pli) , don't want run recording videos , want make sure compatible , show in iphoto , play. please offer advice. able use sony editting system write dvd played on blu-ray , not imac. thought maybe because recorded in hd?? want make sure buy camera easy work mac. thanks.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
