Photo Stream, Mac and a PC

i posted couple of days ago asking if there way photo stream pictures placed directly in folder on mac rather running them through iphoto. don't use iphoto use picasa instead. answer no of course. thought i'd share workaround came with. have old compaq pc running windows 7, use different things, though main computer mac. well, installed icloud windows on pc , turned photo stream on. setup directory photo stream in dropbox, have setup both on pc , on mac. problem solved. photo stream pictures picked on pc , stored on dropbox, can pick them on mac , update picasa (and publish out on picasa account). thought interesting way of doing it, in case else might have same setup.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
