Ipod Touch 3g - Wi-Fi & Bluetooth Greyed out - Need help downgrading OS

i updated firmware on ipod touch 3g. after happened, wi-fi , bluetooth greyed out, error found common among ipod owners. tried find - putting in freezer, resetting network settings, resetting whole ipod, etc. thing can think of work downgrading firmware on ipod.

however, downgrading firmware seems require in dfu mode. apparently, apple stopped offering ability dfu mode latest versions of os x. since have mac snow leopard, can't dfu mode. know of way can downgrade ipod firmware macbook snow leopard?

alternatively, know sure-fire fixes common problem? it's been such headache - i've spent many hours in vain trying fix problem.
 

putting freezer? lol, never heard one.

unfortunately can't downgrade os unless saved shsh blobs older os. apple stopped signing older versions. have tried restoring ipod , setting new or resetting wireless router?

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
