HUGE Time Machine screw up

ok everyone, before laugh yr a$$ off , idiot mistake, (hopefully recoverable).....i have 120 gb external device (hard drive??) i've been doing backups with....not knowing, being ignorant & not learning should have done, every time did one, did entire contents of computer. (was wondering if there way things, such iphoto, example-taking lots of pics candle biz daily --- never asked - yeah, pretty stoooopiddddd)

anyhow, go 1 earlier today , there isn't enough room, started delete other ones, knowing not had changed (and second, i'm realizing 1 huge change upgrade leopard snow leopard - did screw myself worse??)

after deleting couple of older ones, thought it'd leave me more room able save - before eyes, see says, 'deleting other backups' or whatever call - - have failed backup little while ago, time machine still says have left on time machine 11.1gb of 119.69 (see screen shot below) - when open time machine dock, , brings looks pages behind viewing page (best description) there none behind current one.

confused - have absolutely no idea next, still have external hd plugged in, went ahead , stuck flash drive in 'hopefully' transfer images - that's screenshot - when go & allows me view someting 'last week' there many 'folders' like....hard describe limited knowledge, screenshot below , not allow me open it

suggestions --- please!!!!!

i'm thinking if of older backups gone, why isn't there more space on hd 11.1 it's saying???

- i'm in high alert mode flash drive , hd attached not doing until hear - can hold hand thru process of saving it!! please , thank
