MAIL not downloading-

hi

noticed when open mail doesn't have winding icon thing @ bottom left. says "updated 17 08 2011 03.16" , latest mail arrival "yesterday". it's not doing it's thing!
checked browser see if online....it ok, , indeed posting here through it.

notice when go itunes, click comes "your request cannot completed". have no idea if that's related.
ideas?
 

......indeed when go sent , says 'connecting' goes on trying no result.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
