Removing duplicate songs

so want itunes library flash drive, , have been told best way copy entire itunes folder , paste onto drive. wouldn't problem, music 6gb in itunes, , drive 8gb, except found out itunes folder 20gb.

after bit of investigation found out of library, each song has 2-3 copies.

go through thousands of folders , delete each copy 1 one (except in case, i'm not sure copy , original links itunes), bit unrealistic , have near patience it.

there easy way delete duplicates in music folder? (no, i'm not talking going itunes , clicking display duplicates.)

edit: figured out, had sort folder song instead of artist (sorting artist put every song music>itunes>artist>album>song, takes lot longer music>itunes), set date added , delete them @ once.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
