hi,
apple replaced defective imac. backed imac time machine before returning it, thought i'd fine.
backup snow leopard, upgraded lion , data.
when booted new imac, tried restore time machine, didn't allow me since said different version. i'm guessing because new mac didn't have new lion update.
so, completed setup new, did updates.
now, i'm trying restore imac.
click on "macintosh hd" , hit restore?
restore everything, pictures, videos , applications installed?
see "copy" window now. been sitting couple of minutes.
says "zero kb of 116 gb - estimated time remaining..."
so, doing right?
did use migration assistant? if not, use that, it's pretty straight forward.
