Music Program at school

hi, i'm jordan , i'm going going music industries program next year @ asu , want know mac computers , accessories should getting this. program requires work in studio pro tools , other computer recording , editing software. laptop not required in program highly recommended , looking @ investment. need laptop ordinary school work. play lot instruments , have tascam us-16-41 interface, compatible mac?

have looked @ getting macbook pro or mac mini , ipad. know ipad has simple version of garage band avaliable , tons of other cool music , school apps , mac mini updated. road should take?

jordan, going want macbook if need run protools on it. regarding macbook pro vs. macbook air difference matters how complicated music be. if intend on having many tracks , lots of effects, i'd recommend 15" quad core processor. can upgrade ram , hard drive when time comes. if think needs simpler, either of dual core models fine, 13" mba or mbp.

way, macbook more fine normal school work. don't sweat that.

if school requires laptop, not able mini , ipad. protools not run on ipads @ all. requires lot more hardware resources ipad possesses there's little no chance protools available ipad anytime in near future.

google says tascam mac compatible.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
