Macbook Pro battery not charging - and question about warranty


i bought macbook pro on ebay few months ago. working @ first, last week tried charge , wouldn't accept charge. when plugged power supply, shows plugged green light battery won't accept charge.

@ first thought problem power cable bought new one, still has same problem i'm sure battery. has 290 cycles.

macbook still has apple care on it, have taken apple straight away, problem bought on ebay not original owner , apple care registered before bought it. apple still service macbook in case?

, there way can try fix myself (without voiding warranty)?
 

try resetting smc.
applecare follows computer, not owner. if it's covered, apple honor it. can check warranty coverage here.
other resetting smc, there's no physical thing can without voiding warranty or applecare, since built-in batteries not user-serviceable.
