appleinsider reports has heard customer emailed apple ceo tim cook expressing dismay on discontinuation of several mobileme features service transitioned icloud. surprisingly, customer reports received personal phone call cook's office noting company indeed "open" bringing of features if customer demand supports return.
it unclear aspect of customer's email triggered personal phone call apple's staff, phone responses have typically been limited resolving technical issues discussions on phone expedite resolution of problems. apple executives have on occasion responded customer emails, steve jobs being highest-profile responder company on past few years. tim cook has carried on tradition since becoming ceo late last month, other executives taking part in responding emails delegated cook.
