IPv6 active while turned OFF ?!

hi there

have 1 imac 10.6.8, airport connected, ipv6 off in settings.
there 1 airport extreme 4th-gen, ipv6 set link local

can visit www.ipv6.apple.com (i don't mind can, shouldn't able to)
worst of all; can connect imac on internet! using ipv6. it's putting big padlock on door (ipv4) , leave window (ipv6) open.

got information how block ipv6 entirely? , successfully?

you not showing think showing. go terminal.app , run following command:

nslookup www.ipv6.apple.com
you should see chain of couple of resolutions winding akamai server. server has ipv4 address, , computer connecting to. there may ipv6 address server, dns tricky, , has outsmarted you.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
