Hide airport icon on the login screen?

i got mac mini server recently. it's close enough time capsule, connect via ethernet cable. therefore, turned wifi receiver off.

1 minor annoyance on lion login screen, in upper right, airport icon still displayed (indicating off) next time. can somehow remove icon since serves me no purpose?

additionally, can change time indicator digital analog? in upper right of menu bar, choose analog version of time. nice make consistent on login screen well.

when logged in, can move or remove menu icons airport icon holding command key dragging them off menu bar. worth try.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
