Additional benefits of an SSD

hello!

pricing out new mbp , wondering other benefits there of ssd other boot-up time , application start time. reboot mac since it's needed system updates. can me understand additional benefits of ssd.

ssd benefit 8gig ram machine for:
- ios or android development reducing compile times?
- benefit photoshop , darkroom work photo-finishing?
- application switching due faster page-out/page-ins?

other non-obvious benefits of ssd nice hear too. if it's app starts , boot-up times, can keep money other stuff.
 

yes of above, though application switching if 8gb of ram isn't enough. speed disk i/o. experience, compiling software tends more cpu , ram intensive disk intensive, needs lot disk, it'll help.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
