Migrating from iMac to MacBook Pro - advice needed!

hello!

i'm shortly gong moving uk california, , such i'm looking downsize mac setup - can't bothered moving '07 24" imac on me.

i'm mulling on replace with. i'm stuck choosing between 13" , 15" macbook pro.

current machine spec is:

* 2.8ghz core 2 duo extreme
* 4gb ram
* 500gb hdd
* ati radeon hd 2600 pro (256mb)

, it's starting creak little bit. use mixture of photography stuff (lightroom , photoshop), music (logic) , light gaming (tf2, l4d/l4d2, etc) along software development.

so...i'm thinking either:

* 13" macbook pro 2.7ghz dual-core intel core i7
* 15" macbook pro 2.0ghz quad-core intel core i7

both minimal ram/hdd space - i'll upgrade 8gb ram , stick in beefy hdd/ssd drive myself - presuming doable - apple soldering either of these components motherboard yet?

graphics card in 13" mbp suck big time?

, top of line 15" mbp - worth $400 0.2ghz cpu boost , better graphics card?

the 13" screen rather small doing real work on. if plan on getting external monitor either mbp fine. otherwise screen size of 15" make huge difference.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
