Install Lion From USB on 07 MacBook?

i cant seem macbook see usb drive in boot drive selector. sees in mac os x (10.4.11 :/) not in selector when hold option. restored installesd.dmg lion image got app store on imac onto flashdrive (8gb) did go wrong?? need install leopard? dont have snow leopard install unless can somehow use imacs restore dvd that? ideas? 07 macbook (2ghz c2d /2gb/gma 950/80gb) work booting off usb?? use dvd dvd drive broken in macbook.
 

alright figured out flash drive formatted mac os extended (mbr) making mac os extended (guid) , see if makes difference. report back.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
