hydrib drives in an iMac?

anyone running hybrid drive, , if so, worth doing swap standard hard disk? seen price on them has come down substantially , i'm looking easiest way speed system bit without messing full ssd , regular disk both.

in recent imacs have problem temperature sensors.

i've got hybrid (seagate 500gb) in macbook , mixed bag. speed in rotational speed noticeable (but there none imac). working set of programs larger ssd cache see speed repetitive tasks such program development repeated recompilations.

boot times no faster unless repetitive reboots, same reason. @ least in imac, never boot (i use sleep when not in use) boot time doesn't matter. now, lion, i've gone leaving apps running time app start times don't matter.

these reasons find hybrid drive in @ least imac 0 perhaps negative value (because of temp sensor issue), , unless seagate or comes out hybrid drive cache @ least twice big it's marginal value on macbook.
