Coolbook for Lion workaround solution

i have managed coolbook works on macbook pro mid 2009. think workaround work on os x lion platform. here how made work:

this method advanced users, please aware first.

specs:
- macbook pro mid 2009
- os x lion 10.7.2 beta 11c57 / 11c62 runs on 64 bit kernel.

kexts detail:
- thinks these kexts work on both 32 , 64 bit kernel mode , works on lion version now.

1. install latest coolbook 2.22 version.
2. grab 2 kexts attachment , installing os x, manual way install kexts lion:
++ extracting zip files , copy these kexts macintosh hd/system/library/extensions folder.
++ set permission , owner rights:

sudo chown -r root:wheel /system/library/extensions

sudo chmod -r 755 /system/library/extensions
++ re-cache extensions:
code:
sudo kextcache -system-prelinked-kernel
code:
sudo kextcache -system-caches
++ restart laptop, done.

can laptop run @ 0.9v@1.6ghz , 0.987v@2.8ghz, it's totally cooler stock apple intel cpu kext fires cpu @ 1.12v maxspeed.

p.s: coolbook not put cpu voltage below 0.9v case, stock apple kext can put under 0.9v 800mhz speed it's hotter coolbook solution.

thanks lot this, coolbook 1 of utilities core 2duos can't live without. if find way allow voltages throttled below 0.9v in lion please update. of extend battery life under casual usage, reducing cpu voltage 0.825v , beyond @ lowest frequencies great feature in snow leopard , gave around 20% more battery life. since many of suffering poor battery life in lion, @ least on 2010 , earlier models, undervolting real advantage if work.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
