hello everyone, new mba 13" (mid 2011) began wake sleep, within 10-15 seconds of me setting sleep. system log gives following:
code:
sep 10 19:46:48 air kernel[0] <debug>: wake reason: ehc2 sep 10 19:46:48 air kernel[0] <debug>: usb device hubdevice (port 1 of hub @ 0xfa000000) may have caused wake issuing remote wakeup (2) sep 10 19:46:48 air kernel[0] <debug>: usb device apple internal keyboard / trackpad (port 2 of hub @ 0xfa100000) may have caused wake issuing remote wakeup (3)
i don't have plugged usb ports , can't think of i've done cause this. recent changes i'd made were:
- used thunderbolt port (to connect external display)
- installed flash , clicktoflash
- installed printer drivers (brother laser printer)
i've tried resetting pram , smc , have tried creating new user account, problem still persists. i've turned off wireless network (and turned off "wake wi-fi"). happens when set computer sleep menu bar or when let computer idle sleep (at least when connected wall plug).
has had similar experiences or suggestions?
thanks,
g
hi,
i'm facing same issue.
13" mba mid 2011, i7, 265gb, 10.7.1, efi update
everytime mba falls asleep, seconds later wakes again, syslog showing same lines mentioned.
no running apps, no usb device connected, bluetooth , wifi deactivated.
apple care advised me delete following files followed restart:
library/preferences/systemconfiguration/com.apple.powermanagement.plist
, library/preferences/systemconfiguration/com.apple.autowake.plist
unfortunately didn't work me...
