Is the Macbook Air 13" overpriced?

about buy , education pricing final total should $1400~. having hard time coming final decision on whether should buy or not. would've gotten cheaper mbp 13 doesn't have ssd , screen glossy , low resolution. first mac purchase paying upfront little new me.

keep telling myself how tired of windows , how long macbook last me problem free still, it's lot of money :p

how did bought first mac come decision pull trigger?
 

the education pricing $50 off msrp? i'm not student , bought base 13" mba $1249, less 3% coupon code, no tax , free shipping macconnection.

i've been contemplating long time , none of <3.5lbs. windows laptops cheap enough justify me time add ssd. plus don't gestures or stellar apple resale value. if you're college student on limited income it's not best idea stretch budget mba.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
