File Sharing over Internet

is possible have users access folders on internet (http)?

company has 200 customers, each folders of documents , photos. host photos on dropbox, keep in house going forward, documents, can contain ssn , other secure information.

there kind of solution access our lion server via files.company.com, log in using username/password set in open directory , see folders, , maybe view photo folders in kind of gallery format?

no, pretty reasonable.

can use vpn create secure network intranet on public internet.

experience vpn in snow leopard server quite bad, know there commercial alternatives. lion server suffers same faults snow leopard server when comes vpn, might want check out other alternatives.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
