restore time machine to imac or mb air after kernel panic....

i had old black macbook ran tiger or leopard (can't check) died way of kernel panic...thankfully had done 2 things before

1. moved photos imac
2. backed on time machine

have figure out next.....

have imac running snow leopard (10.6.8)
and
have macbook air running lion (10.7.1)

neither 1 has been set time capsule yet have been using both machines

have read if restore data imac, lose old ups on time machine not running lion , in snow leopard now

want data (pics, music, docs) on imac , use mb air travel + internet + email

clue should do? have 15,000 songs in itunes + flip videos avi files concerned on tc

scared start can not lose of data on time capsule

appreciated!

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
