Help with HDMI and adapter

hey guys, purchased belkin high speed hdmi cable , rocketfish mini displayport hdmi adapter. connected instructed 2010 macbook , 50" samsung plasma television. when connect everything, both screen on macbook , tv turn blue, second. next screen on macbook returns normal , screen on television becomes mac os snow leopard image (the purple galaxy picture). stays , can't figure out problem is. i've tried both inputs hdmi 1 , 2 on television , i've tried 2 different hdmi cables.

do want turn on mirrored mode, both displays show same thing? go system preferences > displays > arrangement > mirror displays.

if not, drag window on tv (either right or left side of internal monitor).

aware using mirrored mode makes both displays have same resolution (that of smaller display) tv pixelated)

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
