Future Apple strategy

i have concerns direction apple going products , services.

while ipad , macs making inroads corporate networks, , iphone continues shine, apple seems doing following:

1. abandoning enterprise: apple discontinued xserve, scaled down osx server product in lion, , has discontinued other enterprise offerings.

2. apple feels future: in effort go puck be, apple going all-out on cloud. idea hardware, corporate networks, etc. replaced smart devices , software service.

3. abandoning education market

there number of problems this. microsoft , ibm respond making infrastructures more proprietary , less apple friendly. apple can't naive enough think big enterprise players going sit , let apple intrude on space.

manage large, nationwide network, , many of our applications don't run on osx: many cisco offerings, such ipcc supervisor software, or sap apps use, windows only. microsoft pushing sharepoint hard, , trying unseat software firm wants implement web-based, platform independent solutions.

apple's back-end solutions? company, cannot become consumer-only, offerings go being tools toys. want apple start looking research in motion (rim) -a parasite on microsoft's end struggling stay alive?

time apple hit enterprise: build out full-scale osx server solution , allow virtualization. further develop remote access , custom solutions iphone , ipad.

go out , purchase novell! take nds , port on osx, create powerful directory architecture in world.

tens of billions in bank, , growing profits, apple shouldn't looking become cellular phone company. needs offer end-to-end solutions both consumers , corporations.
 

since imac, apple's enterprise offerings have been lackluster in first place. nothing new here.

apple , every other major technology company.

what infrastructure? microsoft, ibm, , apple don't compete. of cash cows (iphone = apple, enterprise windows = microsoft, servers/big data = ibm) in more or less different markets.

wrong. 10 years ago time apple hit enterprise. have failed.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
