Convergence of iPhone & iPod Touch

there many rumors of iphone becoming thinner, tapered design , matching of ipad 2 , ipod touch. there rumors of 3g capable ipod touches ("itouch"). if itouch has 3g, why bother iphone? while claims of 3g itouches have said use data , not voice, surely, minutes , texting going "converted" data type services carriers in near future anyways (i.e. buy data, no more buying minutes+texts+data), third parties skype, whatsapp, imessage, ect.

year see iphone or itouch, or re-branding of ios mobile line altogether?

in past, reason had separate devices because phone hardware battery , space consuming, didn't make ideal ipod didn't have storage. however, icloud, problem (in apple's eyes @ least) eliminated. , battery technology getting better , that's not forgetting apple's battery life optimization.

thoughts?
 

i had considered possibility well. think apple have continue create ipod touch (for time being) because low end iphone cost much. ipod touch has more of "entry level" price. think of ipod touch more of transition people iphone. in future believe correct , these 2 products merged. think you're correct future phone plans being data oriented, voice plans have stick around. people talk each other , there no standard follow in terms of cross platform apps handle voip calls.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
