Streaming music from Mac to Mac?

for reason think there old feature of os x i'm not aware of because haven't needed until now.

what's easiest way send music macbook mac mini? macbook has music , mac mini server connected flatscreen , home audio system. don't want hook audio system airport express (because it's hooked other stuff) , have atv2 i'm not using because bought mac mini server yesterday.

there built in os x function? maybe new lion feature i.e. airdrop? know airdrop file sharing maybe there's similar?

nice if there airplay mac mac.

if turn on both macbook itunes homesharing , mac mini itunes home sharing let me it?

home sharing? turn on on both macs using same appleid on both, , (say) in itunes on laptop should see itunes library of desktop appear.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
