iMac 27, the CPU temp shows 126c

hi,

after upgrading lion os, fan of imac 27 went crazy.
installed istat pro, , said cpu temp 126c (or 259f).
closed tasks , cpu @ 98-99% idle.
restarted imac , problem remained same.

never had problem sl more 7 months before upgrading lion.

bought imac in jan year.
should take imac apple store?
has experienced similar problem?

anyway, don't think temp read correct.
126c ridiculous , chassis cool.

could istat reading wrong. have tried reinstalling istat? if chassis (especially upper right back) normal, don't have worry anything.

if gpu reading 126c .. wow that's hot, damaged . said chassis not hot. start :)

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
