Resolved Is this new: Double Tap to select range?

i noticed text selection tool changes if double tap , hold instead of tapping once. it'll change shape , allow me select range of text starting word tapped onto. (see screenshot.) tried in both mail , safari – safari little bit more fickle mail; had wait until magnifying glass appeared before tapping again.

new ios 5, or did never notice before?

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
