Lion not recongizing main folders after Migration Assistant

i have bit of problem, bought new macbook pro, , love it. have stuff old mac stored on time machine backup. went migration assistant , transferred data backup new computer. transferred on fine, folders inside home folder, including home folder, seems bit confused. folder icons don't have special imposed image on folder music, pictures, movies, downloads, etc. desktop folder same way, ever have in desktop folder isn't in desktop folder. it's if computer isn't recognizing them kinds of folders. i'm afraid it's because when first booted computer, made account settings same on old mac. when came time transfer, had make dummy account current 1 replaced backup, since had same username. should have not made replace or how lion did files , how snow leopard did them? appreciated. also, not let me select folder (movies, pics, etc.) favorites.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
