TV as iMac dual monitor

i’m not looking right wondering if it’s possibility.

own pretty poor quality hdtv (aveis 24”) , it’s starting bug me in living room, damn small. during boxing week sales after christmas i’m going upgrade it, leaving me nothing tv. so, had thought. why spend $1000 apple cinema display when hook tv second monitor.

imac 2011 21.5” 1 tb port. imagine since tb port works both mini-display , tb display-hdmi adaptor , plug tv that. work though? also, how quality be? know cinema display better price insane. second monitor used full screen previews while editing hd video, wouldn’t used text , such computer monitors better.
 

i can see no reason why wouldn't work, used similar , have 48" tv hooked up. thing limited tv's maximum resolution.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
